Diagnosis of Craniofacial Abnormalities

An MRI or CT scan of your child's skull, brain, and facial structure can be used to assist determine the exact cause of the problem. During treating a kid who has been diagnosed with a craniofacial anomaly, the maxillofacial surgeon will be engaged.

Babies' skulls develop fast throughout the first year of life, which is why these disorders are most likely to be detected and treated during this period of early childhood. Your pediatrician may propose that you and your kid undergo observation for a few weeks or months to determine whether or not your child's health is likely to worsen.
